Steps to becoming a client with us

Step 1 Initial Referral

You, as an investor are interested in exploring as a result of a Seminar/workshop organized by Vishu Dhiri  (Investment Advisor) or an affiliate or is referred by a Lawyer or accountant, or you sought us out on the internet, accessed my website, or were referred by an existing client 

Step 2 First Meeting (No-obligation & Complimentary)

Preliminary meeting is scheduled to enable Investor and myself (the Advisor) to get to know each other. The Advisor makes an assessment of the investor’s life situation, investment experience, and personal and financial goals.  Also, the investor is familiarized with my (Advisor’s) investment approach and process.     (Investor- Advisor both assess if it will be beneficial for the investor to proceed further with the relationship)

Step 3: Second Meeting

  • This is a detailed meeting & investor provides comprehensive information about their situation including any current investments, personal financial goals are identified. 
  • Current Investment portfolio is reviewed, and an assessment is presented 
  • Advisor explains outlines of the strategy to meet the investor's goals and  preliminary financial plan/ solution is proposed.
  • Information is also provided regarding Fees and charges and how we are compensated.

         (The investor decides that he wants to use our services)

Step 4: Client -Advisor Relationship Established

 

  • Investment strategy formally documented with specifics of goals, risk tolerance, time horizon, etc.  
  • Full Investment proposal provided with details of how money will be invested & rationale of strategy 
  • Co-ordination with other professionals if required (example: referral to a lawyer if a Will is required) 

Step 5: Implementation of Investment Plan

  • Documentation completed, account set up and funded   
  • Client approves Investment Plan and trades are processed.

Step 6: Ongoing Monitoring

  •  Investment plan is monitored and updates are provided regularly 
  • Any changes to the client's situation are documented 
  • Adjustments are made to portfolios as client needs evolve
